Rondeau & Abeille was born from a family story.
During my childhood, I spent a lot of time with my grandfather, a passionate beekeeper. It was by his side that I discovered the world of beekeeping, learned to observe the beehives, understand their rhythm, and participate in honey harvests. These moments deeply marked my view of nature and the work of beekeeping.
Over time, my grandfather's health no longer allowed him to continue beekeeping, and he had to stop his activity. Yet, his passion remains intact.
Today, I have decided to open Rondeau & Abeille, a small artisanal business that continues what he passed on to me. This project is a way to keep this legacy alive, to showcase honey, beeswax, and beekeeping know-how, while progressing at my own pace.
To start, I am not commercializing honey, with full transparency, while developing a range of artisanal products made from beeswax.
One of the projects particularly close to my heart is to offer my grandfather a beehive that he can personalize himself. This beehive will be part of the Rondeau & Abeille project; he will know that, every day, one of the beehives he sees is "one of his own."
I hope this initiative can bring him some joy, showing him that what he passed on to me continues to live.
Rondeau & Abeille is a project that is built step by step, with respect and passion, in the spirit of artisanal beekeeping and the link between generations.
